Subscription Review: Graze

Graze is a healthy snack box. And it is delicious.

They have an in-house nutritionist making sure each snack is healthy (and the correct portion size), and each box is customized just for you. You can rate each snack you received (trash it, try it, like it, love it) and their algorithm pays attention to what you like or don't like. You can also rate snacks before you try them; if you know you hate coconut, just "trash" all the coconut items and you won't receive them. They also have special gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free options (so you can "trash" all the snacks that don't fit your body). The only thing not possible right now is no nuts -- people with nut allergies can't get these boxes, as everything is prepared in the same kitchen.

Their entire box is recyclable (even the plastic packaging the snacks come in), and the box is designed to fit inside most mailboxes. You can choose to receive a box every two or four weeks (I am getting the every-two-week box), plus you can pick between a nibblebox and a lightbox (the difference is the lightbox only contains snacks that are less than 150 calories). Nutrition facts are provided on a card inserted with your package.

The box I received right before we went to Tennessee was this one. I ate everything inside it already :) I LOVED the honeycomb flapjack, liked the pizza and berries, and kind of liked the almonds (I just don't like spicy food and it had quite a kick), but didn't trash them because if I have enough water I'd gladly eat them again.

I randomly took out the bottom cardboard piece to find a joke hidden inside! How awesome is that!

Graze only costs $6 per box and I think it's well worth it. It's hard to find this good quality of food (and variety) in the store inexpensively. One of my goals for the new year is to eat better, and that is one reason I signed up for Graze! I definitely suffer from 10am/2pm "I'm hungry, oh look there's heavily processed chocolate" syndrome and I'd much rather reach for fruits and nuts instead. I'm trying to trick myself into eating better :)

I have four invitation codes to give away. If you use my code, you will get both your 1st AND 5th boxes for free! (I will also get $1 to use on a box or to donate if you use my code!) You can cancel at any time. Click here to sign up for Graze!
