Vaughan, Ontario, Canada: Canada's Wonderland - Wonder Mountain's Guardian

Wonder Mountain's Guardian was the fourth ride we rode at Canada's Wonderland.
This isn't really a roller coaster, although you are in a small car (4 people) on a track. It is a story-based ride (2014), where you travel through Wonder Mountain and kill off monsters with a laser gun at your seat. You will be handed 3D glasses to wear throughout the ride (I made some comment about how being given something to wear is backwards from how most rides operate; usually they want you to have as few loose items as possible), which should tell you something about the speed and track. The car will go backwards, sideways, and forwards, so it won't matter which seat you get into when loading (facing forward or backward) because it'll change throughout the ride. It is gamified so you try to shoot as many monsters as possible to get the highest score. I did okay with the score but Eric managed to barely shoot anything :) There is a surprise drop at the end that is a nice touch. You will wait in line for a long time. There are video screens set up along the line with trivia and a fleshed out story line for you to enjoy while you wait.
