Allentown, PA: Dorney Park - Dinosaurs Alive

Dinosaurs Alive was the only "entertainment" activity we did at Dorney Park.
This exhibit is at most of the Cedar Fair parks now, and we decided to do it here at Dorney since there weren't a ton of roller coaster options. You walk through a pretty big section of the park, wandering by over 30 dinosaurs, many of which move. A few of them you can control movement (and breathing) too, which is pretty neat. Pretty well done. Also, there were lots of funny signs.

The dinos are billed as being life size, but a few of them (coughT-rexcough) are definitely way too big.

There are "rangers" walking about who can answer your questions. We asked them silly things and they played along with us.

There's also a fossil dig area.

This costs $5 unless you are a season pass holder. If you or your kids are really into dinosaurs it might be worth it; it's definitely a fun stop / break if you have a pass.

The exhibit from the point of view from a walk around the park can be found here. We don't take videos or photos when we ride so all the links to videos will be from other people.
