Demon Drop was the fourth ride we rode at Dorney Park.
This thrill ride used to be at Cedar Point, and is super old and clunky. I didn't feel entirely safe on it but it was my idea to go on the ride. It elevator-lifts you to the top, then drops you while you are on your back (kind of like a giant, fast, steel slide that you ride in a cage). It would have been fun except for the massive head bang at the end of the ride when the cage gets righted so you are standing. We were even prepared for it having heard/seen the previous riders, and we couldn't prevent our heads from banging.
The site of Demon Drop is also the previous site of one of the largest dance pavilions in the country, Castle Garden. We found a bunch of history signs throughout the park and they were enjoyable to read. This one is hidden past the exit of Demon Drop (looking toward the ride).
