St George Island, FL: St George Island Lighthouse

We spend the rest of our spring break with my aunt and uncle who live near Port St Joe. They used to live on St George Island, though, which became a place where a lot of my mom's side of the family would vacation. Another cousin of mine actually met her husband there, and she was in town visiting her in-laws, so we hopped over there to see her and some of her kids. We were already planning on going to the island to see the lighthouse.

Well, I would like you to guess what day we were in town.

Sooo we didn't get to climb it, which was a bummer because my other cousin (the one we went sailing with) actually helped to rebuild this lighthouse a few years ago after the original one fell into the ocean.

It's still a pretty lighthouse. We wound up going to the beach nearby for a little while instead.
