Growing up, my mom played the same trick on me several years in a row, and I continued to fall for it more times than I am proud to admit. The trick? "Look, Maria, it's snowing outside!"
Yeah.
It was never snowing outside, although we have had snow in April before, so I could never discount her exclamation and I had to look outside for myself. It was a really clever trick.
I don't have any tricks up my sleeve on the blog today. I never trust anything on the Internet on April 1st, so I just wanted to point out that my posts today are not April fooling :)
