Friday Photos

Happy Friday! It felt like a long week and I've been feeling a little under the weather, so I'm pretty happy to get to the weekend. And March! March means spring and warmth and gardening! Which brings me to this:

For the first time, we have a little plot of dirt to plant things in, instead of using 20 pots. It unfortunately doesn't get much light. Do you guys have any ideas of what we should plant here? There were black-eyed susans and various greenery (and mums in the fall) when we moved in. I picked up some partial shade flowers, lettuce, and broccoli to see if they'll grow, but I want some more ideas.

In Maryland we had a huge balcony deck that got full sunlight all day, and we were able to grow snap peas, snow peas, zucchini, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, various herbs, and flowers all summer long. It was awesome. I know we won't get that kind of production here without full sun, but I would like to grow something! Any ideas?
