Goal Recap: Week 30

This weekend is a big one! Tomorrow I am hosting a reunion for our Scotland experience. In 2004, my high school theater troupe performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, one of the biggest and most famous theater festivals in the world. To say it was an honor and an amazing experience is an understatement. I had the lead role in the play we took (The Curious Savage) and my brother also had a large supporting role. We held onto that show for over a year, which if you do theater, is a dang long time to hold onto something and still be excited about it. I had 417 lines and can still recite a good chunk of them. We performed three times at our location on the Royal Mile. It was the first time I'd been to Europe (we spent 3 days in England, most of them in London, and then two weeks in Scotland, most of them in Edinburgh). And I am 100% sure this trip was the catalyst for my travel obsession. It was amazing. I am incredibly grateful to my parents, especially my dad, for encouraging our theater participation and for helping us raise the (significant) amount of money it took to send 20 students and 3 teacher/chaperones on the almost 3-week-long trip.

Anyway, since it was 10 years ago, I invited everyone to Bloomington to get together and hang out. Hopefully some people can come; I only know of a few so far who can make it.

This weekend we also get our keys to our new place and can start moving in. I can't wait!

Goals for Blog
  • Regular Posting Schedule - This week was good! I hit everything I wanted to. Next week I will finish up our Colorado trip.
  • Design - Nothing new here.
  • Exposure - Nothing new here.
Goals for Self
  • Health/Wellness - I was not very good with this this week. Too much food and not much exercise. I feel kind of tense all the time (I am pretty sure it is the boxes for the move; I like when things are put away and organized and clean, so I am anxious to get all this stuff moved in). Hopefully I can get back on track this next week. I am also looking forward to two weeks from now, when we will be on the beach! I can't wait!
  • Education - Nothing new this week.
  • Business - Nothing new here.
How are you doing with your New Year's resolutions/goals? This little recap definitely keeps me thinking about what I want to be doing this year! Thanks for reading :)
