Bloomington: hYPe meetup

One of my goals for living in Bloomington is to get back to doing stuff. It was such a chore to do anything fun while we were in DC, so now that the it-takes-forever-to-get-anywhere barrier is pretty much gone, I am going to take advantage of it. Last week I went to a hYPe meetup!

hYPe Bloomington is like a networking event for young professionals. I went because the girl in the picture above (Katie Birge) went to DePauw and is the face of the Bloomington Tech Partnership (in other words, she is awesome). This particular meeting was all about entrepreneurship, which is one of the main reasons I was interested in it (besides that Katie was talking). I have wanted to start my own business since I was just a kid (actually, I had several business ventures over the course of my childhood)...might as well do something about it!
